About This Role

The Field Monitoring and Reporting Assistant contributes to accountability, quality assurance and evidence-based programme management. The role conducts regular field visits, verifies implementation against agreed indicators, and supports the generation of timely, accurate reports that inform programme decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to monitor activities and verify implementation
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data from beneficiaries and partners
  • Support verification of outputs against established indicators
  • Assist in compiling monitoring reports and site visit summaries
  • Maintain monitoring databases and documentation
  • Flag implementation issues and risks to programme management
  • Support learning reviews and after-action reflections with partners

Requirements

  • First-level degree in Statistics, Economics, Development Studies or related field
  • Basic knowledge of monitoring and evaluation frameworks
  • Strong analytical and documentation skills
  • Familiarity with mobile data collection tools (e.g., KoBo, ODK, CommCare)
  • 0–2 years of relevant field experience preferred
  • Willingness to travel frequently to project sites
  • Fluency in English; local language proficiency an asset
