About This Role
The Programme Officer leads end-to-end delivery of UNEEP's Economic Empowerment Fund across East Africa. The role works closely with grantees, SMEs, government counterparts and regional partners to translate strategy into measurable economic outcomes for women, youth and underserved entrepreneurs.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage portfolio of grantees and SME beneficiaries
- Coordinate with regional partners and government counterparts
- Oversee monitoring, evaluation and reporting cycles
- Lead due diligence and disbursement processes
- Represent UNEEP in regional forums and donor meetings
Requirements
- Master's degree in Economics, Development Studies, Public Policy or related field
- 4–7 years of experience in development programming or impact finance
- Proven portfolio management and partner relationship experience
- Fluency in English; French or Swahili an advantage
